WELLINGTON QUARRY

Wellington Quarry is an active site extracting sand and gravel. Pleydell Smithyman were commissioned over several years to produce restoration schemes, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and material audits to make the best use of the on-site soil and processing materials. Our latest drawings provided accurate models of the restoration landform possible after landowner requirements were applied, including the aspiration of a land bridge across the restoration water body and a greater number of inlets and variations in the edge of the water feature. Our use of Land Survey Systems software allowed these models to be interrogated and revised to get the best outcome for the client and landowner.
