CLIFTON QUARRY

Pleydell Smithyman have provided landscape and quarry consultancy at Clifton Quarry since 1998, in 2014 we managed and successfully applied for a large-scale extension to Clifton Quarry. PSL project managed and compiled the planning application and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), carried out the quarry and restoration design and completed the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), heritage assessment and ecological impact assessments. Through the phased operations of the quarry the site will be progressively restored to a mix of agricultural land, nature conservation uses and lakes.
