COUNTRYSIDE PROPERTIES

LAND AT LEA HALL ALLOTMENTS

As part of a multidisciplinary team, Pleydell Smithyman helped the client gain planning permission for a new housing scheme on a former, poorly used, allotment site in the West Midlands conurbation. Within the public realm, low maintenance contemporary planting and wildflower meadows were used to define different areas, and our design included a public open space, a play area which encourages natural play, new allotments and a SuDS attenuation pond.
