HEYROD TELECOMMUNICATION MAST

Pleydell Smithyman have produced numerous Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments of telecommunication masts across various environments and in some challenging protected landscapes. The LVIA’s consist of two separate inter-linked components; landscape character and visual amenity, with the assessment considering the acceptability of the proposed development. Our reports are supported by numerous graphics, illustrating the surrounding designations, the assessed landscape character, the calculated zone of visual influence and finally a series of panoramic photographs where a version of the mast is inserted into the image at the correct orientation and scale creating both wireframe and photomontage visualisations. Pleydell Smithyman’s approach to LVIA is comprehensive and robust, providing a usable document for planners, in a cost-effective manner.
